Doctoral Dissertation

Description: This course requires the student to prepare a dissertation.

Objective:  Student is required to submit an original work on a natural health topic. Dissertation should be not less than 60 typed pages.

Document should contain footnotes, references, bibliography, etc.

Text:  A Manual for Writers, 7th edition by Kate L. Turbian

The text is not mandatory but is helpful in preparing a dissertation

Credit: 18

Exam: Pass or fail grading on dissertation

Note: A draft is submitted before a final work is turned in.

Options to a dissertation are:

1. Writing a book and submitting it in an e-book form (no less than 60 pages)

2. Completing three case presentations (Credit 3) and taking 15 credit hours of courses
