Complementary and Alternative Health Degrees
Women, people ages 40 to 60, and adults with higher levels of education and income tend to use complementary and alternative therapies frequently. There have been considerable increases in the number of people using common forms of complementary and alternative medicine, such as herbal therapy, massage therapy, energy medicine and more.
New Eden School offers the following programs for the formation of the Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)
Curriculums
1. Advanced Diploma in Complementary and Alternative Health
A very good curriculum composed of various courses in complementary and alternative health that will effectively educate the student to become a Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)
Requirement for Enrollment:
High School Completion or GED
Duration of Program:
Generally takes 9 to 18 months via distance learning. This is a self-paced program.

2. Associate Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health
A robust curriculum composed of various courses in complementary and alternative health that will effectively educate the student to become a Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)
Requirement for Enrollment:
High School Completion or GED
Duration of Program:
Generally takes 12 to 24 months via distance learning.
This is a self-paced program.

Important:
Once any of the above degree programs are completed, the graduate can apply the credits toward any other program New Eden School offers.
Those that complete any of the above degree programs may want to enroll in the Alternative Medicine Diplomate (AMD) Doctorate Program. The curriculum can be found at the Clinical Natural Medicine Programs page.
Individuals that have completed the Master’s Program need to only complete the doctoral dissertation in order to earn an AMD Doctorate.
5. Doctor of Philosophy in Complementary and Alternative Health (PhD)
The word philosophy comes from the Greek which means “love for wisdom” This degree is for those that enjoy teaching and doing research in the area of complementary and alternative medicine.
It is also useful for those operating as Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioners.
Requirement:
Master’s Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health or the completion of any one of the following doctorate degrees:
ND, AMD, N.M.D, DBM, DNOM, NHP Doctorate
Duration:
12-24 months via distance learning
Outline of Courses:
