Complementary and Alternative Health Degrees

Women, people ages 40 to 60, and adults with higher levels of education and income tend to use complementary and alternative therapies frequently. There have been considerable increases in the number of people using common forms of complementary and alternative medicine, such as herbal therapy, massage therapy, energy medicine and more.

New Eden School offers the following programs for the formation of the Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)

Curriculums

1. Certificate in Complementary and Alternative Health Online Video Program

Requirement for Enrollment:

High School Completion or GED

14 Weeks-Once a week for 2 1/2 hours on Monday evenings. Live video classes are offered in May, September, and January.

(Prerecorded video classes are available all year round)

  • Complementary and Alternative Health Approaches and Modalities
  • Starting Your Business or Practice / Legalities

Credit Hours for E-book Courses: 16

Credit Hours for Live Video Classes: 4

Total Credit Hours: 20

Tuition: $1460.00

)60.00 Per credit hour for the e-Book Courses

500.00 tuition for the 14 week live classes divided into 125.00 monthly payments over four months.

Prepay: 1,242.00 (15% discount special if Paid in Full)

Tuition includes study instructions, testing material and certain eBooks.

This program includes resources in the form of eBooks that are for additional educational information and no study or testing is involved with them.

 These resource eBooks are: (These free eBooks are for students that are enrolled in the full 20 credit hour program)

* Wellness and Longevity Assessment Tools for Natural Health Professionals

* Traditional Naturopathic Approaches

The free eBooks are emailed to the student once the tuition is fully paid.

2.The Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner Certification Program

NES offers an excellent certification program that consists of eBooks and other e-materials. This program is designed to be self-paced and to be completed via distance learning.

Requirement for Enrollment:

High School Completion or GED

Duration of Program:

Generally takes 4 to 8 months via distance learning. This is a self-paced program.

Outline of Courses:

Total Credit Hours: 22

Tuition: $1320.00

Tuition does not include textbooks but does include study instructions, testing material and certain eBooks. A basic chemistry eBook is included with this program.
$60.00 per credit hour

Award: Certificate in Complementary and Alternative Health

3. Advanced Diploma in Complementary and Alternative Health

A very good curriculum composed of various courses in complementary and alternative health that will effectively educate the student to become a Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)

Requirement for Enrollment:

High School Completion or GED

Duration of Program:

Generally takes 9 to 18 months via distance learning. This is a self-paced program.

Outline of Courses:

Total Credit Hours: 40

Tuition: $2400.00

Tuition does not include textbooks but does include study instructions, testing material and certain eBooks.
$60.00 per credit hour

Award: Advanced Diploma in Complementary and Alternative Health

Graduates can apply to be Board Certified through the American Council for Holistic Medicine (ACHM)
Graduates can apply for membership with the Complementary Medical Association or with the International Institute for Complementary Therapists (IICT) at www.iictinsurance.com
Graduates are encouraged to become members of the International Association of Natural Health Practitioners (IANHP) at www.ianhp.org

4. Associate Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health

A robust curriculum composed of various courses in complementary and alternative health that will effectively educate the student to become a Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)

Requirement for Enrollment:

High School Completion or GED

Duration of Program:

Generally takes 12 to 24 months via distance learning.
This is a self-paced program.

Total Credit Hours: 61

Tuition: $3660.00

Tuition does not include textbooks but does include study instructions, testing material and certain eBooks.
$60.00 per credit hour

Award: Associate Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health

5. Bachelor’s Degree in Complementary and Alternative Health

A very robust curriculum composed of various courses in complementary and alternative health that will effectively educate the student to become a Complementary and Alternative Health Practitioner (C.A.H.P)

Duration of Program:

Generally takes 24 to 48 months via distance learning.
This is a self-paced program.
